Event Format: Per FFG’s Tournament Regulations. Clash of the Titans 2020 will be run as a basic structure with a formal tier event. Due to the delays expected for a number of upcoming releases the events team have deemed that ALL units released before the 1st day of the event will be legal as long as they are added to your submitted army list and modeled correctly.   Requirements: Players should have all materials needed to play. This includes tokens, models, and associated unit / upgrade cards. Players must bring at least 2 printed copies of their list. This is to provide one list at registration and one to show to their opponents each round. Table Top Admiral is the preferred list builder. After purchasing a ticket, players must register themselves by faction in the following document: There will be NO painting requirements for this event. Painted armies will be encouraged with prize support. Tournament special rule: As this will be a narrative based event, a narrative pack will be announced prior to the event, outlining the area being fought over and the types of battlefields you will see. Each player is encouraged to play for the faction that they enjoy as overall Best General will come from the faction with the most victories at the end. For this event ONLY you will not be required to use objective, condition and deployment type cards as each round will have a predefined set up for you to use. Round Details: Players will be assigned pairings and a set table. Players are required to play against their assigned opponent on the specified table, due to the nature of the Narrative Event structure, each table will have pre set missions, as well as objectives and deployment types. Players will be given 120 minutes (2 hours), to set up and play each round, once time is called, there will be 15 minutes for you to finish that game turn and enter results, after this additional 15 minutes elapses games will finish and score immediately.  Rules Disputes:  In the event of a rules dispute players are encouraged to call for a Judge. Judges will confer with the players before addressing the issue in accordance with the current Rules Reference Guide. If you disagree with a Judge’s ruling players can request the Tournament Marshall (Jeremy Cooper). The Marshall will confer with both players and the relevant Judge. Any rulings made by the Marshall are final. The tournament will be run using FFG’s Game Floor Rules. Players will be issued warnings and, if necessary, disqualified in accordance with this document. We strongly encourage our players to call for a Judge if at any stage they believe there is an issue in line with this document. Examples of behaviour warranting a Judge’s involvement include, but are not limited to, collusion, slow play, aggressive behaviour, and cheating. Prizes and Giveaways: Prizes and giveaways to be announced. You will likely see:
  • Star Wars: Legion product as lucky door prizes
  • 3D printed prizes
