There is no plastic on the hardware and there are moderate scratches throughout to the exposed hardware. The shoulder strap hardware also has moderate scratches. The exterior leather has minor scuffing to a few of the bottom corners, a small scuff on the front of the bag near the turnlock and a small scuff on the front flap near the hardware.
